News Update: Dec-07 We are still working on an update. As always, it has been tumultuous time for the entire crew the last few months. Kevin has been working on getting the new studio/workshop into shape, which required building it from the ground up. Simon has been on the cusp of complete success or failure with his product. I have been busy courting with the IRS, trying to find a decent job in a tiny town and seemingly repetitively banging my head against one stone wall after another in my attempts at finding my niche. Our Errant Knight Dru is still busy with the Army and seems to be in fine mettle, and I'm afraid to ask Killian what he has been up to. Sometimes it's just best not to ask. We have a great update coming... stay tuned! News Update: Sept-07 Just a quick note that there is an update in the works. Kevin has been very busy the last couple of months working on his new domicile and I hope to post some pictures of his Dungeon Room, if I can get a hold of a couple of them. From what I have seen it is an absolutely fantastic set and will have certain visitors to the site all squishy and squirmy. Further, it is a reflection of what I believe the members of Hardwear all strive for on a personal level - that being the ability to learn any skill, the artisitc ability to take those learned skills and apply them in a new way and above all to make our own dreams come to life, for ourselves and those around us. Besides that sort of fun, we will have at least a couple of new galleries of some delicious bodypainting models, as well as some shots from a costume done for a well known fetish photographer, who used it for a recent shoot. Speaking of, we are always interested in talking with photographers, set design folks, special effects people and anyone who might need help with a film project, costume or armor design, or anyone who might like private or public bodypainting sessions. News Update: May-07 We are currently in the planning stages of implementing a real-time ordering system for the site. HardWearCreations has reached a point where it behooves us to make some of the less custom items availble 24/7 for our customers. This would include shackles, cuffs, paddles, flogs, whips, ballgags, misc. restraint gear and much more! However, I could use some help with this and was hoping for a little community input into a good system that would be easy to add onto the site. News Update: Apr-07 We've got such a huge update this time that I really don't know where to start. Over 400 new photos in 11 new Model Galleries and updates to at almost all of the other areas. There is new stuff to gander at basically everywhere but I will try to break it down so no one misses anything. First up we have 10 New Galleries in The Models area. There are photo sets from the DarkCon 2007 event as well as another fantastic collaboration with Mark Greenawalt Bodypainting from the 2nd Annual International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival. Kevin was once again invited to sit in on the panel at a seminar titled "Creating Disgust and Grotesque FX on a Low Budget" hosted by Joe Gruberman. The photoshoot itself was a great success and it is the very last set featured currently in the The Models section titled The Guardians. Make sure to check it out! In the Dungeon there are new items in the Collars, Cuffs, LegCuffs, ClubWear, Masks, Accessories, Whips, Flogs and Paddles and some great new ballgags in the Other Gear section. Don't fail to check out the new paddles as we added over 25 great new designs with more coming every week! In the incredible Bodypaint section, we have our new lucious model Giggs featured from a shoot that is Holiday themed. We guarantee that even Santa would like a present like that! On the other side of the site in The Galleria there are new products featured in the Corsets/Belts section, Sheaths and Scabbards and new Spur designs which have become very popular. You can check out the spurs in the Miscellaneous Treasures area of The Galleria. Kevin was involved in another film shoot recently and was asked to provide the make-up and costume for the Lead Singer of Sweetness for their first video production. The costume called for a Centuries Old Vampiress and the effect came out great. The video is available on their myspace page here. Below are a couple of shots of the bodypaint and costume in process.
We have decided to add a new member to the mighty Brute Squad. Let's put out a big welcome to Killian who will pick up the reins of Quality Control for the HardWear crew. Speaking personally, I have known Killian for almost as long as I have known Kevin. We met at the first Estrella War that Kevin and I attended, about 17 or so years ago. In all the time that I have known him, he has always been as good as his word and he is one of those rare men who are what they seem -- no bullshit and no excuses. He is truly one of the best men I have been privileged to know and if you can spend 5 minutes with him without blowing something out of your nose from laughing ... then one of you is ill! Finally, we would really like to thank all of the fantastic models we've had the opportunity to photograph and work with in recent months. News Update: Feb-07 The New Year is here and Hardwear is going strong! We are currently working on a very large update for the site with pictures and products from several events, including the The International Horror & Sci Fi Film Festival, DarkCon, and several Arizona Fetish Ball productions. Further, there will be a ton of new product shots including spurs, ballgags, collars, paddles, flogs, scabbards, belts and more! So keep your eye out and check back soon!
News Update: June-06 If you keep up with the HardWear crew, you'll know that every single one of us is typically going eight million directions at once. As well everyone is involved in a huge variety of industries in the day to day world (Mundania). Among our ranks, we have an Artistic Genius (Kevin) who dabbles in about every art medium, has about mastered leather and can also fix about any mechanical item you would care to name -- from your Harley Motorcycle to that rusty ass chainsaw in the garage. We have another fledgling artist who works in wood, canvas and can handle almost any tech you could think of (Everlarge), an Inventor who works with Wireless and other emerging Technologies (Simon), and our beloved apprentice Dru is busy fighting the good fight in the dusty streets of Hit in Iraq. So giving time to the site sometimes is the last thing on the list -- but we are really making an effort to bring you our updates in a more rapid manner and we managed to deliver the goods this month! The action is primarily all in the Dungeon this month, with some fantastic new additions. Roughly nine new paddle designs were added for you to gander and gawk at. Keep in mind that the paddles are now in the hands of their lucky new owners -- so watch out! If you want one, and we know you do, just send us a quick email and we will get back to you about the details of your order. Besides the great new paddles, we have new additions to one of my favorite areas of the site -- the yummy, functional and naughty Sex Swings. We've added 4 new swing designs and every one is guaranteed to hold an Everlarge (when properly mounted) -- what does that mean to you?? It means you can get crazy busy without fear of falling on your, or ahem, your partner's ass! There's More! Holy Shite you say! But it's true -- just take a stroll into the Other Gear area of the Dungeon to witness the amazing Kitty Cage! News Update: May-06 We keep trying to get the site geared towards small, incremental updates so that we have a few new items every couple of weeks. However, life just doesn't seem to work that way for the HardWear Crew! So to start, we've added 10 new Bodypaint Galleries -- with over 250 new photos for you to gander at! We heartily recommend you go check them out as they feature some of the hottest designs and hottest models seen on the site! You can find all of the new Galleries under the rotating "new" logo -- makes sense huh? In the Galleria we've added new items in the corsets, scabbards and sheaths, bottle holders, and the other treasures area and on top of that, we've added new projects in the cuffs, collars, clubwear, and masks in the Dungeon. Further, we redesigned several areas to make it easier to browse and added information on every product area. We are working on making ordering easier, but as everything on the site is custom, it doesn't make it easy! News Update: 01/23/06 First off we would like to take a moment and wish everyone a succesful and healthy New Year! The site has been updated with a ton of new content for your enjoyment! First up, there are 2 new galleries in the Model Photos section. The first new gallery in the Model Section features Kayla Rei and Heather Keckler in an incredible shoot from the The 1st Annual International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival. Kevin was asked by his friend and fellow bodypaint and SPFX Artist Mark Greenawalt to design costumes for a shoot centered around two characters from Brian Pulido's CHAOS! Comics -- Lady Death and Purgatori. The costumes came out fantastic, the bodypaint and effects were incredible and the photo-shoot went off without a hitch! Kevin also joined with Mark Greenawalt, Nathan Blaine (Spirits of the Force) and Jason Kimble on a panel at the Festival and spent time fielding questions for the audience. Next up in the Model Photos section we have a new gallery featuring the very sexy Lynette from the upcoming The Villikon Chronicles. Further, we are very pleased to unveil the BodyPaint Galleries featuring all original designs by Kevin Speidel. There are thirteen new galleries for you to google at including content from Gothrotica, FetishHeat, Arizona Fetish Ball and others. Keep in mind that Kevin is available for hire for custom bodypaint work whether for private events or public. Also we posted some new pictures in the second page of the Galleria of some new custom leather projects. I have to admit that we are pretty slow at getting new content up as the site tends to come last with the amount of things going on for the HardWear crew. We are several months behind, as there are literally dozens of new projects that we need to get on the site for your viewing pleasure. News Update: 10/25/05 So much is going on! There have been lots of new items created, Events attended, models photographed and beautiful bodies painted. We are trying to get the new content in order and up, while at the same time re-designing the site so it is more user friendly. Please stand by. --Everlarge
News Update: 06/26/05 Using classified stealth tactics, like Hobbes leaping on an unsuspecting Calvin, recently I sprang mightily on a certain beloved leatherworking, bodypainting, sword-swinging, lewd and lusty pirate, and using the impressive mass of the Everlarge, held that said pirate down until he promised to give up some more stuff for the site. Pleading some cracked ribs he hobbled off into the workshoppe, mumbling incoherent things like "if it's booty you want..." and "...frigging hell chunk". Assuming I would get a few new shots for the site, I went on my merry way. Swiftly on the heels of my victory, the following day, I noticed that our server hardware at HardWear was sending me bloody alarms and warnings. As always, Kevin managed to suprise me by not only exceeding every bandwidth and space limitation we had in uploading content for the site, but in doing it twice. So after gathering everything in and taking a quick gander, I realized I was sitting on a pile of about 400 to 600 uncut photos. I haven't quite managed to go through everything yet but feel I have found most of the cream of the crop for your viewing pleasure. So without further ado, I am very proud to say that the Model Photos have gotten a huge update with over 200 new photos for you to gander and goggle at. Since the site's last update, Kevin gladly packed up his bag of tricks and spent some more time with the crew of The Villikon Chronicles at the Grand Canyon Caverns in Northern Arizona to finish shooting some parts of the film. From my meager understanding, with the film mostly in the can, they are now hard at work on digital effects and editing, and the finished film should be ready sometime next year.
So what else has been up, you might ask? Well, as always we have more yumminess to share. Kevin has been working hard at mastering his bodypaint techniques and if you happen to live in the little slice of Hades the locals call Phoenix, Arizona you might just catch him at local concerts doing bodypaint at the shows or on the weekend nights at some of the local clubs and parties.
Ideas, designs, images, and patterns constantly flash through Kevin's poor abused mind. You can see it when you talk with him as he will pause sometimes while looking at something ... or typically someone, and say "you know it would look really cool if..." -- he just can't help himself. Speaking of help, we are on the look out for individuals that would enjoy modeling for the site. Last week, Hardwearcreations.com's Kevin Speidel, Mark Greenawault, and the crew from The Villikon Chronicles invaded the Leprecon 31 comic book convention. The biography of the making of “The Villikon Chronicles Mystere and the children of Dido" was unveiled for the first time to the public. Kevin says "Courtney and Tanya dazzled the crowd at the masquerade contest. I don’t know if it was their beauty, my costumes, or Mark's paint that took the prize but I hold the awards so I guess it really doesn’t matter much." <-- Hehe. Kevin got the booty. While I sit here coding this update at 4 in the morning, Kevin is getting prepared to head to the Grand Canyon. Stage two of the filming will commence deep in the earth at the Grand Canyon Caverns May 13th to the 15th. Kev says "Next stop is the caverns for the last segment. I am so excited. Not only am I the props master in charge of dressing all the lovely ladies but I also get to play the part of one of the sentinel soldiers! I think I will get my ass ripped apart by the creature Dido. Finally I get to die in battle. Well on the screen any way!"
So, as usual, Chaos Reigns! and Kevin is moving at his typical break-neck speeds. Because of this it makes it hard for me to get him to hold still long enough so that I can get new stuff for the site and for you to get to see! I have noticed a trend in that our updates seem to come in bursts but when they do -- you can expect an absolute ton of great new content and stuff you just won't find anywhere else! Currently, we are working on new model sections (Ooh la la) and body paint sections (Yummy yummy yummy!), adding a bunch of incredible stuff from the upcoming film, and just all kinds of general mayhem so make sure you come back soon!

News Update: 03/30/05 The site is back up! We moved from our original host (who unfortunately farted out on us!) to a great new professional outlet. With the new tools and options available to us we should see some great changes soon. News Update: 10/01/04 The content for the Dungeon is taking shape quickly and by All Hallows Eve (Halloween) we hope to have a BIG TREAT for you. However, the process has taken more time than we had hoped, as not only is the master at work on many things, but loads of product has been and is being made, the photography and MODEL photography is taking shape, a brother apprentice has been being trained, parties and balls have been attended, the world traveled and ASS just generally being wup'd!
